Hey, well yesterday, my PC just froze on desktop, i re-setted, and it was just stuck mon the boot up screen where it shows all your info quickly. it only go to showing the CPU, kept doing this, so i powerd it down.

Now there is no signal to the Monitor. Everything seems to come on, but there nothing? ive tryed re-setting CMOS, nothing works.

The LED's are on for power to memory and mobo, so i dunno.

Iam using a GF2TI as my X800XT PE is out for a bit, heheh. I did get a error message eveythime on boot up but what the hell is this???? :bang head

Thought id also say i get a beep on startup, so i don't think anything is dead.

I can swap the Gf2ti for a Ti4600 is this the first option 1st to see if the card is dead? Lights are on the gf2ti for power. :bang head

Hey,
I just got EXACTLY the same thing today! (MAYBE)
First it forze of the windows LogOn screen. I tried to disable overclocking in BIOS but half way it freeze. Checked that mouse and keyboard are OK.
I reset the BIOS with the CMOS switch and it won't get past post or rarely does(sometime it will load windows after a long time and load very slowly, maybe because I am not overclocking anymore, and get frozen on desktop before things loaded finish.
Now I put the system on barebone and it won't pass POST.
I hope that my monitor won't go out too :S
My system config is nothing similiar to yours so probably not manufacturer's fault?
Hope someone can help us out.
Thanks

Update: Once in a while I get into BIOS and the response to key press where extremely slow. It would response like no problem for a few second follow by about 5 to 10 seconds of freeze and eventually freeze up totally :bang head

Try swapping the card first. As you at least getting a beep, sounds as if RAM and CPU are OK.

eatingfield:sounds as if you are developing a serious hardware problem. First thing to do is remove all nonvital components, set your RAM at default, and see if you get better results from a POST.
