the recommendation for PSU in this forum is nothing less than an antec 480watt, the recommendation at the silent PC reivew forum is above 300watt, i'm kindda not knowing what to do, i'm running an OC with tons of fans and HDD and all the little stuff, i feel that 420watt thermal take is not enough, but other are telling me that it's fine. I'm honestly stump here.
it is fine, 420 is enough if u dont have a power eating pci-e or other new power demanding stuff

Yeah I have a go0d 430 watt powering 1 BFG 6800 Ultra, 5 case fans (one a tornado), 1 160 gig EIDE HDD, 1 100 gig EIDE drive, CD Rom and DVD rom, all with a slightly OCd CPU and mobo(see sig). Just make shure its a name brand PSU that can put out what it says.

Check here (http://www.extreme.outervision.com/index.jsp) to see how much juice your using. If you buy a cheapo PSU then subtract 25%+ off whatever it says and thats your usable 24/7 rating instead of peak power. The elite PSUs..the PCP&Cs, Zippys, OCZs, FSPs etc tend to underrate and most high quality other manu's at least are rating nominal watts instead of peak watts.
