Hello,
I recently bought a laptop in December and it has worked great with the exception of the DVD-Drive. It is a (space left intentionally)Mats hita UJ-820S drive which has been giving me nothing but problems. It only reads certain discs and it will only burn to a Memorex blank. I searched the web for a firmware update only to find other people having similar problems with the drive looking for a firmware update themselves. As a result of this, I have decide to buy a new laptop burner, but I don't know what to get. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could point me to a good replacement that will fit in my laptop. ( Acer Aspire 2012WLMi )
