Lockups tired of them!

Yeah i spent about 300 dollars on cooling equipment and my crap still locks up , whenever i overclock,(ANY slight adjustments) just a little.I dont know what to do! All I can think of is the video card, cause it has no fan on it,and its the le version of the radeon. Also the northside bridge fan is a puny fan too. Or they hard drive is getting too hot. Any ideas>Thanks

Might be your hard drives...maybe the motherboard is trying to force ATA100 on your ATA66, just a guess out of the blue, but hey. Otherwise, forget investing money in your hardware, and get yourself Windows2000, it's awesome. A good idea would to be to check at your school/college/whatever if they can buy a copy at Academic price for you...I bought mine for only $140, the other day, and I've only locked up while I was benchmarking my geforce3 in 3DMarks2001, and set it too high.
