Centrino is the combination of a Pentium M processor and Intel's 802.11b and/or g in a laptop.

they are very efficient on battery power.

They are very battery friendly and can handle more "complex" operations with less clock cycles. I originally bought a centrino lappy for battery life. I found out through use that even running 100% load, the lappy doesn't get hot. my paticular model supports motherboard monitor. 100% load yields 60* temps with a barley noticable fan noise to go with it. My 1.6 ghz P-M appears to be on par with a 2.6 maybe 2.8 P4 prescott lappy in overall performance. I would really love to see a variation of this processor spawn to desktop form. Would be an interesting O/C for sure :D

Centrino is a platform that consists of three things
1. Pentium M CPU
2. Intel 855 chipset
3. Intel wireless

There is no such thing as a Pentium M 3.2 GHz. If you meant a Pentium 4-M 3.2 GHz, then the answer is no.
The Pentium M and the Pentium 4 Mobile are two different CPUs and platforms. The Pentium 4 M is not faster than the Pentium M despite having a higher clock speed.

You actually need to be more general with this;
Pentium M or Celeron M
Intel Chipset
Intel Wireless Card
