I don't recall what they were running against. I'm looking for the ATI counterparts for the Geforce4 Ti 42/44/46 hundred cards.

Thanks

i think it would be more appropriate to place the GeForce 4's against the ATI 8xxx series. They came out about the same time. Sorta like GeForce 5/FX against 9xxx series, and 6xxx vs. xXXXx series

The TI series was released after the 8000 series radeon and right around the time the 9500 - 9700 was released. Of course the 9000 series was a directx 9 card and the 8000 and TI series cards were 8.1 cards. So it would be better to compare cards to the directX series and revisions rather than when they were released even though the 8000 series was competition to the Geforce 3. Which by the way a TI4600 would own a R8500 but get owned by a 9700pro (I believe the TI was also faster than the 9500pro). Example:
8500 <-------> TI500 (GF3)
9500 <-------> TI4600 (GF4)
9700 <-------> 5800 (FX)
9800 <-------> 5900 (FX)

This may be of some use, it reviews many cards on once. It's a hard card to place it in teh ATI line-up because it's a DX8 card. My gut wants to put a Ti4200 next to a 9500/9600 Pro, but those are DX9 cards, and the early DX8 cards ATI had aren't as good as the TI series. Not counting DX9 features, 9mmCensor had it right.
