Far Cry and EAX3

Does anyone here know (besides shard), if Far Cry supports EAX3? Shard has told me over and over that it does support EAX3 cause he saw it at a friend's house, but I haven't been able to find anything about EAX3 in Far Cry on Google, these forums or some other gaming forums. I'm very curious as to whether or not it has the ability to really take advantage of my speaker system and sound card. :)

To the best of my knowledge, no it does not support it even with the latest patches. It does support EAX2.

IT HAS EAX3!

at least i think the remote possibility does, and by statistics it says it should, but honestly, just say screw it to EAX, and play the game realy loud, and it should echo for you!
