I have one P4P800 Deluxe running value ram at 2.5-3-3-6 and Hyperpath enabled. CPU-Z tells me PAT is enabled as expected.

On the other one I had to upgrade the bios to 1019 for use with my Prescott chip. Now, no matter what I set in the bios both memtest and CPU-Z indicate that PAT is off.

Have ASUS changed the board to not be able to use PAT on their 865 chipset? They are both the same board, in fact the second one that PAT isn't working with is actually newer.

Hmmm.

Figured it out. The P4P and P4C800 boards both automatically disable PAT when the FSB goes over 200.

Don't know why, but at 200mhz fsb PAT comes back on.

If you want PAT at over 200mhz and have a P4P800 not the P4P800e board then there is a mod for it. Search for PAT Hack or bigtoe PAT Hack.
