Help! I.P. Address! Every time when i post in other forum, write a guestbook or giving comments on some website, they publish my I.P. address....... I use cable modem so I have a fix I.P. address...... how do u disable or make it different everytime

What you're asking for is how to set a dynamic IP (dynamic means it changes). ISPs determine whether your IP will be dynamic or static and yours is static. the only way to get a dynamic IP is to ask your ISP for one.

And with them publishing your IP...that's a setting in their forum and there's no [legal] way to change that that I'm aware of.


Your best bet would be to just get a good firewall and then you don't have to worry about it.
