ok well i got my new ram today .. and my case .. so i swapped everything out of the case and into my new lian li pc2000b i dropped my antec true control 550 .. seemed fine .. so i reinstalled it all .. go to power on and it seems the lower fan on the psu is making a sound like its rubbing against something .. anyways .. it boots up into windows and the screen has some snow on it .. and then it crashes .. its not overclocked or anything .. i booted into the bios .. and i look under hardware monitor .. and it reports my rails as so .. 12v at 11.55 and 3.3 also low .. i have never had any problems with this before i dropped it .. would a damaged psu cause snow ??????
my system specs are
amd 3500+
1gb gskill le
msi k8n neo2 plat
bfg 6800 ultra oc
do i need a new psu ?? i dont have any laying around and im on my laptop .. would a neopower 480 be enough ?? i heard they are better then the true control 550 ?? pls help me
