How do I make Win 2K boot disc?

I wanna format my laptop and instal XP Corporate clean but my Win 98 SE boot disc will not work , how do I make a Win 2K boot disc , I do not know dos at all.

Is there a way to do this automatically in Win 2k, need to format quick. HELP

you need 4 floppys
and the WIN2k CD
gointo the "BOOTDISK" dir
and run "makeboot"

So once I have made the 4 boot discs, do I just insert disc one and reboot ? Will system then boot off the first floppy and then prompt me for the next one?

get a dos 7 from here (http://www.bootdisk.com) ,
then put your bios and wut not on it and flash >=-)

I need you to explain more please cause I am not that comfortable with flashing bios if thats what you mean. I just got a MSI k7T266 Pro DDR board and I can not afford to screw up.

I have downloaded the drdos 7.exe , what do I need to do next? Appreciate your help.

if you are trying to flash the bios you need a dos boot disk then you put boyh the flashing program and the new bios file on the boot disk then restart with the boot disk in the a drive and when dos comes up type the name of the flash progam and follow the proms in the program.

In wanna install xp on my laptop which has Win 2K on it, thats where I need to figure out how you format. I also plan to install XP on my desktop as well , it has 98SE on it and I plan to convert from fat32 to ntfs.

Yes I wanna get rid of the os on my ibm laptop, I will just upgrade my desktop from 98se to xp and convert database from fat 32 to ntfs on desktop.

My prob is how to get rid of Win 2k on laptop without having to go the flash bios route.


Thas why I made the 4 boot discs but after running them I never got option to just format?:o
