I'm a newbie on watercooling, but decided to get the koolance case. My temps recently went up from 28c - 33/34c, is this a pump failure? How can I check for it?

look at the tubes or check to see if you can feel the pump vibrating. im guessing its something else, though. a pump failure would mean MUCH higher temps. it could be many things. like the temp in your room going up, or some tubing getting kinked, or the waterblock being pulled, or something getting dusty.

Check if the water shows any indication of moving around, if it isn't your pump may have failed, but if your temps rose 5-6 degrees you might be just having some warmer weather or you were playing games making the cpu/gpu having to work harder and as a result get warmer.

A pump failure would probably result with your temps rising until your cpu shuts down from overheating.

10$ says he is going by idle temps.

Koolance uses 2 pumps so it cold be that one died.

I'll take that $10 bet and say it's a dusty rad.

$20 says that ambient temps changed

and another $20 says that his temps increase/increased because he closed the door to the room w/ his PC in it (reason towards ambient temp. rising)

You can clearly see both pumps working. If one pump fails you will not overtemp. Your temps will rise though. :D
