View Full Version : replacing the innards of my antec PSU?
well.. i just got the news that the psu in my aria is 20 pins and the mobo i was planning on buying is 24 pin.... so that wouldnt work out
any chance i can buy a microatx psu (24 pin) and switch out the innards?
i know this soundz crazy but it would be interesting to give it a shot

Yeah all you would have to do is unscrew the pcb from the casing and some how get it mounted in the antec one, however it sounds kinda silly. How much power does this paticular microatx psu have?
the current 1 in there has 350W

its the smallest PSU i'v ever seen that has a 120mm fan!

Hmm, maybe it isn't so silly now that I see what you mean, I thought you were gonna put a micro atx psu in an atx one, lol. But since they are both matx.. I dunno, you can see if the innards will actually fit, you could have clearance issues.
