I have this stuff (http://www.corsairmicro.com/corsair/products/specs/cmx512-3200xl.pdf). As you can see, it's supposed to run 2-2-2-5 at DDR400 by default. I've had it in my machine for several months now and it has always showed up in the BIOS and in the typical utilities we use as 2-2-2-5 by SPD (when not o/ced). Now all of a sudden it's showing up in the BIOS as 2.5-2-2-5 by SPD. Sandra and other utilities confirm it's running at 2.5-2-2-5. What's up with that?!?!

set your ram manually !!
i assume you are saying that at stock speeds the ram "spd" is set correctly. but as you overclock the "spd" settings change.. thats normal for most..
just set manually and dont worry about the "spd", "turbo", "optimal" settings...

Sorry I wasn't clearer. At stock FSB, nothing o/ced, the SPD now says 2.5-2-2-5. It used to say 2-2-2-5. For some reason, the SPD has upped the first "2" to "2.5" (sorry I don't know for sure which timing that is, but i think it's CAS. I'll check next time I reboot). Yes, I know about manually setting the timings. I was just curious about how the SPD could change on its own. Again, this is with all stock settings in the BIOS.
