i just got a new sapphire 9800pro vid card and im wondering whats the stock clocks? mine are 374/324 is this right or is my card a bad one?

380/340 is the norm for the 9800 pro but there are many variants those clocks look fine

ok thats good i saw on newegg that the speed for the core and the mem was 380 core and 680 for mem lol when i saw i was at 324 for mem i was really ****ed off lol but thanx for the info now i am not ****ed off lol

mem speed = mhzX2 340=680 324=650 (round up for spec)

one more question my heatsink for my card is really hot like cant keep my finger on it for more then a few seconds hot and the fan is working is it supposed to be this hot?

the 9800's produce alot of heat so you will probably be better off getting a new vga cooler

lol the stock heatsink on my sapphire 9800pro 256mem 256 bit oem card sucks nutz it doesnt even do what its supposed to do every ten seconds my card errors cause the heat on the heatsink is so darn much i have to use my fathers computer just to get on the froums till tomaro and i dont even know what time tomaro ill be getting my artic silencer rev3 from frozencpu
