I have a Hauppage PVR-250 in my computer that works well (dont really get GREAT reseption) for watching TV. The problem I have is that the scheduler program does not seem to be able to see any channels, allowing me to program it to record something in advance. I have comcast cable, which uses a cable box and leaves the TV signal essencially on channel 3, as you all know. The cable runs from the wall, into the cable box, and then into my computer. Is there any way I can get the winTV scheduler to see all the channels?
