P4 1.7 @ 1.9

Im having problems i got my P4 1.7gig to a 1.9gig
but ween i got more then 1.9 it loads into Windows for a few Sec then it gives me a BSD ( blue screan of Death )
I cant realy read what it says too fast and then it reboots
but i managed to remember this....Memory Dump.....(00xa8f....)
And something about my Ram or Vcard

Ohh ya im colled buy AIR yes air runing at 30-35oC idel
and Full load 40oC MAX

I think your memory is crapping out on you. In some cases you can get over 900 with pc800 rdram; but I think yours is caving a little earlier. Can you adjust your memory to 300 versus 400 (my abit th7 2 raid allows this). I have a different problem with my pent 4 2gig @2.1. If I push the fsb over 105 I get a protection fault in NDIS! No feedback yet on my problem..... But I do believe you need to back your memory off some way.

I have a P4 1.7 g and P4t also. I can overclock to 1869 (110 mhz fsb) with stock heatsink/fan. Any farther than that it locks up before windows. If you think your problem is the RDRAM there is a setting in your bios to set the timing of memory to auto/3X/4X. Try setting to 3X instead but i think my problem isn't memory but cooling. I have now a dangerden waterblock and peltier but haven't had time to hook it up yet. I'll Post my results when i do though.

ahh ok i think i will set my ram up and plz post the result i would love to see that :)

will post if i get two 2 gig but im close just need my 128mm Fan with 105cfm :P

and i use the fan/block its the WAW60 its sweet took 20oC off LOL comes with a 92mm 100CFM and its not nosy its pretty qiet but i do not care :P
