okok i know the whole v*a=W equation with pelts...but I have a 431W enermax PSU, it has a max 17A on the +12V line...I'm gonna be runnin the dtek intercooler on this PSU and a card cooler (2 80mm fans). my question is...can this take on a pelt big enough to coole a 1.4 tbird (and just how big is that? 156, 172? what?)
A pelt big enought to cool a 1400 T-bird is gonna run on 24 volts anyway so you will need a different power supply for it. You will need at least a 152 watt or bigger pelt for that oven of a chip and those are 24 volt models.

see but the site says
Will "work" with most 350w+ power supplies and high power Athlons. For bests result use a regulated 12-15V 15-20 amp supply!
I have my PSU pushes 12V at 20A, sounds like what they say wil work..I'm probably wrong as I have very little idea what i'm talking about. Just wanna know if it'll work and if it won't where i can get stuff that'll make it work.
Any pelt that will run on 12 volts is not gonna be big enough to cool a T-bird 1400. An 85 watt pelt will 'probably' run on your power supply but it wont be able to keep up with that 1400. I have one and they run super hot.
