Well, here is the card i'm lookin @ buying right now
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-122-206R&depa=0
Its a barebones product which i will take gladly but its refurbished. Now i would assume there is a warranty but does it restart when i purchase? Or is it total time since original purchase?
The price is fantastic really, another thing i was wondering was basically leadtek vs xfx...which one should i get outta those two. Xfx looks cooler but that means very little.
Thx for advice in advance

I wouldn't buy a refurb video card from Newegg. I have seen alot of unhappy customers and myself included. Usually the refurb cards are the crappy OCer's. Alot of times they have artifacts or some sort of problem. Spend the extra money and get it new, or check the classified section here :)

Well then, i guess thats that, is there an easy way to search WITHIN the classifieds?

I have found good deals on videocards that worked at newegg refurbs. 9700pro and 9800pro worked fine, but 5900XT had to rma. That was the only problem with any refurb I bought out of about 20 total my brother and I bought. They have a 2 week warranty. After you submit the rma, they give you another 2 weeks to send it to them. USPS priority mail is cheap for returning things to them and 1/20 is pretty good.

Newegg is probably the only place I would actually buy Refurb video cards. Their customer service is top notch. They will take back the cards with out any problems. I would stay away from newegg refurbs as stated above. But I do have two Leadtek 6600GT TDH's that I got from them and I could not be more pleased.

I guess you simply buy the card, torture it and if it lives then its all gravy and biscuits. If it doesnt, then rma it. This may sound unethical but i'll be damned if i get screwed over!!!
