Hi everyone need some help here .first off i have a socket a 750 amd duron with a 7ixe4 gigabyte m\b.i made a water block at work ,used 3/8 i.d tubing and a 70 gph pump .the water block is copper and the temp is hotter with the water cooling than with the fan and heat sink.155*fwith water 125*fwith air .i am at a loss not sure what to think any help?

You said nothing about a radiator. You do have a radiator, right? :D

If you do have a radiator then make sure there is a fan (or are fans) blowing on it. If not, then add one :)

Are you using the motherboard thermistor to get your temps? Many of them measure the temp of the air under the CPU and that would cause you to get a higher temp (false reading).

If it's neither of those things, then I'd suggest a more powerful pump and maybe a bigger reservoir (assuming you're using a submersible pump).

First, make sure the waterblock is seated exactly flat on top of the CPU. If it's cocked just a tiny little bit, your temps will go way up.

Second, Make sure there is no air bubble inside the waterblock. I shook mine real hard with the pump running before I put it on the chip. Got all the bubbles out of it doing that.
