Windows Question!!!!

I have a question about Windows. I saw in a book once on how to change the manufactuer in the systems properties window. But I didn't buy the book and now I can't find the stupid book. If anyone knows how to do this I would like to know.

It is called a oemlogo.bmp is the systems folder

and if you dont have one make one up and put it in there

right now im a 98 system at work when i get home i'll check to see what folder it is in on the 2k sys

and the other file is oeminfo.ini hope this helps

Hey thanks. Thats pretty cool. I also looked up the oeminfo.ini online and found out where to create one at www.bondgroup.net under windows tips.

I downloaded the OEM info program....It lets you change the logo, the name brand and add a text box for support info...very cool.
