I just used prime95 to test my computer it got to hot 63c (144F) way to hot! I know that my Athlon can handle over 150 , but when the heat sink melts to the fan then I know the wetter way is the better way.:D

I have been thinking about water cooling when my town was is a heat wave but when it cooled down I scraped that idea. untill I downloaded prime95 it showed how hot the thing can get .

I have been asking the same Question on the Forum but getting limited response. so I will lay my question on the table:

I have a 1.2 @ 1.356 40gig 7200 rpm maxtor 512 pc133 SDRAM g-force2 64meg gpc a-open ak73(a) mobo and other goodies that don't matter to much.

what is the best block, swif or somthing from dangerden (maze 1 or 2). I am going to use a under ground electrical box 6x6x6 for a resivor? I plan on using a slow pump like 130 gph-100gph what is a good brand for this type of pump. do you need a raditor if so what is a good type.

Also if you have ever bought somthing you wish you had not please tell me everything you know about this topic.:)

I just assembled my water cooling system, and everyone recommended the Maze2 block from Dangerden, so I got the Maze2-1 so I could possibly go peltier later. As for pumps I would highly recommend Rio, just because they are cheap!! I got my 200 GPH for $16 +s/h, while others were at least $40. Just do a search for Rio submersible pumps, you should find stuff, and there are tons of aquarium shops online...I'm going to be building a bong, so I don't know about radiators, although the DD Cube is normally recommended. Water cooling is so much better, my PC is silent and I get temps between 7 and 20 degrees C lower than my CAK38 gave me(and I'm currently only using a resevoir).
