I've gotten around 12 alarms or similiar ones since I installed Zone Alarm this morning.

"The firewall has blocked Internet access to your computer (NetBIOS Name) from 63.160.160.68 (NetBIOS Name)".

Does it mean anything or is it just standered alarms while on the internet?

That depends...

If your ISP is Sprint (I did a WhoIs lookup) then your ISP is scanning you. They could be checking for open ports (servers) or they could have CodeRed or something.

If your ISP is NOT Sprint then you might have someone trying to get in. In which case, you have their IP and the name of their ISP (Sprint).

A quick, easy WhoIs lookup engine can be found at www.dslreports.com/ip

If the connection attempt is being blocked then for all intentional purposes you do not exist to the person trying to connect to you. So I would not worry. If you are on a broadband connection its pretty typical to see that stuff a couple of times a day.

Get in line I am on the end of a long line. The only good thing is he who wrote it has to deal with it as well. Kind of like doing your job to well.

If you have warnings now think about how it was when you were wide open!!!
Read the help files
Only worry when they start scannng heaps of ports from the same ip #
I have run untold fwalls and ZA is the best. Check out
http://grc.com/default.htm and go to leak test and read a whole lot more from the site

Just tested the firewall, And there are no leaks unless I allow it to leave. So thats good.
