ok....i actually have some kind of idea of what happened, but wanted your advice too. i d/led an app, that i found here (http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?threadid=225576)(yeah yeah.....so its the [h]ard forum).

now, my PSU is a generic 300w...and as it stood, my 5v was at 4.811(not too good). so i run this app, and my 5v starts dropping more....last i saw it was at 4.65. before i could close the app, my pc just clicked off....instantaniously. after it clicked off, my power LED just kept flashing(the PC was not running at all either, no fans, no hds, nothing). i pushed the power button, nothing...still flashing. so i flip the switch on the PSU off and on.....not flashing anymore, but it still wont go on..power button does nothing.

now the PLED on my A7V is lit when the PSU switch is on, so i assume something is going to the mobo.....but perhaps the PSU switch is dead? i tried the PSU on another PC and it did the same thing, so im assuming my PSU is fried(is that what happens when the voltages get too low?). i just really hope nothing is wrong with my mobo.......

now, i guess ill get a new PSU.....what would be a good recommendation?

Sparkle or Antec 400-450(in case you upgrade later) for the PSU.

Did you reset the CMOS?

If you put your PS in another machine and it still wont boot, well i hope you know the words to TAPS as that PS is DEAD, get a Sparkle, Future Power, or Enermax, and our 5v should never go below 5, most i see are actually above it.

When I e-mailed Enermax they told me that anywhere from 5~4.7 is ok. I doubt that though. The enermax 465 is actually a 431watt psu. Thats what I have.
