ok, basicallly what im trying to do is add a second wireless router to my LAN. I Changes the routers IP 10 192.168.2.1, set it to static IP...but I dont knwo what values to enter for:
Internet IP
subnet mask
Gateway
Im pretty sure the subnet mask should be 255.255.255.0, but what should I use for the internet IP and gateway? I tried using the other routers IP (192.168.1.1) for the internet ip..but then I dont know what to put for the gateway. Im thinking that i should put the lan ip of the second router for the internet IP (192.168.1.103) and the gateway as (192.168.1.1). can anyone confirm?
I have the wireless on each router set up with a deifferent WEP.SSID, and channel...i just need to know how to make the wired part work. Thanks!

the gateway should be the other router's IP (192.168.1.1) and the internet IP should be an IP in the other router's subnet e.g. 192.168.1.2.
THen connect the uplink of the 2nd router to a port on the first.

DO NOT CONNECT THE UPLINK TO ANYTHING!!!
You want to use it as an access point, not as a router. This means connection a lan port on the 1st to a lan port on the 2nd. The wan port that should be used is on the 1st router to connect to the modem.

He may want to use it as a router also?

yeah...FLamed_Chip is right...I also Need to use it as a router, Im running a modded firmware on the second router that lets me set the wireless service to access point mode, but I still want the wired ports to act like a router.

In that case just do as klingens said and it should work fine.

intersting problem.... I have the secind router's WAN port plugged into a port on the first router, I have it set to static IP (192.168.1.101)...the address given to me by the routing table on the first router. the funny thing is that the MAC address for that ip is different than the one on the bottom of the router...but just by the last letter...the MAC on the bottom of the router is (edited)....whereas the MAC in the routig table is (edited)..Im not sure what this means or even if it makes a difference. I set the second routers IP (Network Setup->router IP->) to 192.168.2.1, and enabled remote access, but I cannot get to its config page at all, unless Im plugged directly into it. I've tried 192.168.2.1:8080 and just plain 192.168.2.1 can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong?

The MAC address issue will be due to the fact it has 2 MAC addresses, one for the LAN side and one for the WAN side, it sounds like just the LAN side is printed on the bottom. Also it's probably not a good idea to post your MAC addresses I'd remove them if I were you.
If you wish to access the 2nd routers setup from a machine on the first router you will need to use the 2nd routers WAN IP (192.168.1.101). By using 192.168.2.1 you should only be able to access it if plugged into it directly.
