Been running a system in my sig. Nothing new or changed. All drivers are current. No driver updates recently. I tried to get in tothe EAX console and got an error message saying the device was not detected. I made NO changes to the hardware or software. Any ideas here???

Details... All sounds work fine. When I try to ope the EAX Console I get the message the device supported is not detected. the application closes. I checked the drivers again and they are current. EAX worked before 2 days ago. (checked for viri or spyware and nothing)
UPDATE::::
I managed to get things working but the solution stumps me. Turns out the ATI Catalyst Control Center was the issue. I forgot I had recently updated the driver for the 9800Pro and decided to try the Catalyst Control Center. I removed the Control Center and all is well. But WHY would a video driver interfere with My sound card??? I realized I didnt specify my sound card. I have the AUDIGY 2 ZS.
