Take the heatsink off the cpu, and place the probe as close to the CPU die as possible(DONT PLACE THE PROBE ON THE CPU DIE AS THE HSF wont sit right if you do)

If you have a probe that isnt flat(IE a 'bulb' type of probe) it may not allow your heatsink to lay flat on the cpu die and you have to find an alternative procedure, if the probe is the flat type this will work out well.

OK, Im straying from the topic, but who do you trust?

MBM5 says my temp is 35, the compunurse says 25. I've got it RIGHT up against the core. I tend to average it in my mind, but I would love to know what it really was (to justify all the money I've spent on this- HA!)
