That is odd. The only thing that I can think of off the top of my head is look in Start/Programs, the look for Internet Explorer and see if there is two of them, one is a shortcut, the other is a folder that opens up, see if it's in there.
Go start
then choose run
and enter the word
conf
press enter.
should launch netmeeting

i had to go to microsoft and get it.now its a newer version 3.1 and all seems to be working
What is netmeeting? and is it pretty easy to get other friends on it? I am just curious as to what it is.
Thanks, Tim
Netmeeting is a program of web cams. Generally you log on to a server and chat with them. With the option of seeing them as well.
Is it easy?
Sure. Takes about 5 mins to get up and running.
Great. I want to be able to get my less computer-savvy friends on videoconferencing.
I noticed while looking at retail webcams in a store today that many of them come with netmeeting.
That is nice.
