Ok guys put your thinking caps on. Win2k will not boot it loads then as soon as it comes up the system reboots. Win98 amd ME comes up fine.I did a complete clean install of both drives I need help please. The BSOD comes up but its so fast I cant read the errors one said kmode..... another time said registry error........another said something about a wrong thread??I tried every thing from a new PSU to a new Processor Please help:(

I a couple of things to try;

1. Have you tried booting in the logged mode, and then check the log and see if there are any hints in there.

2. If you are running a dual boot with 98 and me, have you got p'n'p os enabled in the bios, as win2k does not like this.

3. Have you got any isa cards in you machine, if so try taking them out.

Thanks for the reply I think I found the prob I have 2 sticks of pc2100 crucial and 1 stick looks like it went bad. why only in w2k it errors I dont but they will warranty it Ill get another next week
