Well... One of my more reasonable dreams that is.
Something I've been wanting for ages to have but previously was unattainable considering everything similar was a $300+ vandal-resistant model in only green.

I don't know if I'm sold on the relocated windows key, but the rest of the keys are smartly placed and very similar to the kayboard I'm using now.
Does anyone know of any comparable products that use LED illumination instead of EL wire or tape?

The Saitek model doesn't have backlit or translucent keys. :/
Plus it won't fit my itty bitty desk.

I like big huge logitech boards myself.
I use one of these: http://store.yahoo.com/pfuca-store/haphackeylit1.html
That Deck keyboard looks cool, except for the Windows key.
I'm gonna read the review, if it turns out well I may consider getting one.

thats awesome. i think thats going to be my next upgrade. thanks for the link. i wonder why the professional is so damn expensive, but i like how the lite2 has the arrow keys separate. blank keys would be hilarious, but i bet i would become a much better typist

I don't think I'll be happy with that one due to the strange CTRL key placement. A key I use alot while doing graphical work.

the eclipse model does, but its still big

I just use CTRL for you're usual shortcuts and for games, it feels more natural to me where it is on the happy hacker than being in the bottom-left corner.
I've been reading about this Deck keyboard tonight, and I'm really tempted to order the red model with a black shell. Its just expensive.

That's a sweet looking keyboard. It actually prompted me to go looking for one I had been previously unable to find. FINALLY, it came up on E-Bay!

Hey that looks like the keyboard I saw in that Police car I had to ride in a few years back!

That's because it's made by the same company. :)

i love my $20 microsoft multimedia kb :D
serves its purpose well and the keys are nice n' quiet
I can't stand big fluffy space-wasting keyboards with the speed-racer command keys all over them.
I have a BIOTEQ keyboard. Found it in a dumpster attached to a P1 in 1998 so it's at least 10 years old.
It still has the only keystroke that plays smooth for me. (beside my laptop)
