Like the title says, is there any linux version of MSN Messenger ? I don't use any other (like ICQ, or AIM), and I like Messenger !

Thanks !

i believe "everybuddy" can incorporate your aim, msn messenger,
and icq contacts all in one program. ive used it and wasnt that crazy about it but thats just me. you might dig it. i stuck with gaim for linux.

i have no friends on msn :( ok, maybe 2 hehe

Yeah, the only one that comes to mind is Everybuddy. Its a fairly decent program, although I had some problems with the later versions of it.

You also might try looking on freshmeat, they have a pretty good site to look up that type of stuff. That is where I originally found Everybuddy. I just punched in MSN over there and got a handful of relevant hits -- one of them might pan out for you.

Good luck!

Hey, if you find an MSN substitute that's good, let me know.

You could try the GAIM program. That will work with Instant Messanger and I think MSN Messanger. You can get to it at this
web site: http://gaim.sourceforge.net/ :D

someone just told me about a prog called Trillian (supports ICQ, AIM, MSN, and Yahoo) and multiple instances of each (ie, be logged on as more than one messanger account)

I don't know if it'll work under *nix, but it might be worth looking into also..
