guys,
i wanna know how to set the memory timing to 2-2-2 or 3-3-3..
or which is better?
i got Award BIOS of Abit with Cpu Soft Menu II
i also wanna know if this will give better performance.. thanks!

Yes these settings can improve perfomance. you will need a program like sisandra to check your bandwidth once you benchmark you will be able to squeeze the last bit of bandwidth that you can with your setup.
You can also go to www.rojakpot.com and go through there BIOS guide and that will help explain your settings.

You change those settings in the bios. When booting up just hit delete till you get to your bios screen. The scroll down to I believe it's advanced chipset features and hit enter. Should be right at the top you'll see things dealing with RAS and CAS and other things. Should be 3 settings all in a row. Basically just change them all to 2 I think. Or maybe just the one dealing with CAS to 2. I don't know much about the stuff I just know where it is. I believe that if you RAM don't like the settings though that you'll have problems.
