What is the best defragmenting program for moving all the files to the front of the disk? I've tried the one in Windows and it doesn't move everything up all the way. Thanks in advance.

try diskeeper v9 its very good, you can also defrag however many disc at the same time so hey maybe this is good. also the defrag tool of Iolo tech system mechanic is a good defrager....

Thanks for the reply. I'll try diskeeper. I've tried system mechanic before, nice program but I didn't like the defrag portion. Thanks again.

Try PerfectDisk (6.0). It's has a great 'SmartPlacement' defrag.

diskeeper is a very nice program. i suggest you give that a shot.

win xp defrag is useless.

WinXP degrag def. isn't useless. At times it performed better than Norton's Speed Disk for some odd reason...If cost is an issue..it does the job overall

i must say, perfect disk v6 or v7 is the the best defrag program ever.
it even works better than diskeeper!
