Well over here in orange county, CA its starting to heat up....summer is on its way. Yay! but...kind of sorda not yay! why? cuse my water temp is going up and along w/ that my cpu temp goes up. I remember when it use to be at -7 degrees C. Now it idles around 1-3 degrees C. My Vcore voltage is at 1.575.

I haven't flushed my water since I built my rig..actually its almost been a year coming up i think in a few months. Perhaps I should flush it?? This is a possible casue for the increase in temps right? I'm using a the MCW-5002-PT water block from Swiftech...and an AUX Meanwell PSU s320 to run the pelt...my current voltage out put to the pelt is 12.15 volts. I currently have my p4 oc'd to 3.8 and I'm kind of concered about my increase in temps. What can I possibly do to help bring my temps back to the negatives? I use to get like -7 when Idling but now i'm at 3 degrees C (just checked MBM)

help! i'm a bit worried that i'll loose stability!

One thing to do is blow all the dust out of your radiator if you haven't yet.

I'd aslo check the thermal paste, it may have dried out somewhat.

Dust everything, and change out the water in your cooling loop.

I would also take a look inside of your waterblock, and see if it needs a cleaning; an infrequent water flush and waterblock check-up is a very good idea in my experience, after a year your loop is likely much grimier than you would suspect!

Past that, you can only really hunker down and wait for summer to end. Hotter weather outside means a warmer ambient inside, which will affect your overclock unfortunately :(.

To make yourself feel better, just remember, you're not alone! All of us have to put up with the goods and evils of summertime together!

(goods / evils = Coronas with lime / a slightly decreased overclock)

I've also got a water-cooled pelt system, and I've noticed about a 2-3°C rise in temperatures on warm days. Given that under load I'm still only about 20°C, I'm not going to stress to much about it.
