i downloaded MBM.... version 5.0b i think it is.

i have an ABit-BH6 on this comp
and for the temperatures i have 'sensor 1' set to monitor 'LM79'... the temp just sits around 30deg Celcius give or take. with those temps i just assumed that it was the temp of the mobo that was being monitored.

i have 'sensor 2' set to monitor 'LM79-Tekram Probe' since this was the only other thing i could monitor i assumed it was the cpu temp.

problem is ( this is a celly 300a... ) the temperature read 57deg i thought that was pretty warm for an intel chip that is running at it's standard clock speed... but then again i don't have any case fans.

i overclocked it to 337 (75x4.5) and the temp stayed at 57. then later i took it to 374 (81x4.5)... and it ws still at 57deg even afte gaming it stays the same...

i overclocked it to 450 but it crashed a few times, i used to run it at 450 but i had some case fans running at it never crashed. i checked the temp and it still said 57!!

everything else changes, the fan speed, the mobo temp... but not the cpu temp/the 'LM79-Tekram Probe'

any help would be appreciated i think it's a bit odd myself... heres a pick after running UT for an hour at 374mhz:

I do not trust a single software temp monitor system. They are false. If you want accurate temps get a temp probe. there $15 and can save you a lot of frustration trying to figure out whats up with your temps.
