Which video editing programs work with windows 2000? I've tried Windows Movie Maker and Adobe Premiere 1.5 demo and both require Windows XP.
I have win2k proffessional. I got pinnacle studio version 8 with my all in wonder card and it works fine. I'm not gonna say it's the greatest editing software in the world cause it isn't. Like I tried winproducer on my friends rig and it's much better. Pinnacle studio takes a long time to render a movie and and some stuff is a little annoying but ultimatly it gets the job done just fine.

Perhaps try to find an old version of Premiere, I used 6.5 and it worked quite well on win2k. I am actually surprised that Premiere doesn't work with 2000.

Yeah, friend coming over with his copy of 6.0 and gonna see if it'll work.
I'm kind of surprised that Adobe decided to not support Windows 2000 with the newer versions of their software

You sure it wont work? Sometimes they just dont officaly support that OS but it still works. XP and 2k are around same in terms of how they opirate.

Interestingly enough, I have a dual boot with Win2k and XP, and opening Windows Movie Maker from 2k works fine.
