I am trying to find some great drivers out there. i dont want any lockups in games, or anything like this.. really smooth play. i have a 6600gt chaintech. what drivers do you use? hacked or not, doesnt matter.. doesnt matter your videocard, (although i am more interested in others with 6600gt) just let me know, thanks! :)

I'm using the Xtreme G modified 76.41 drivers...have been for a while. I haven't benchmarked to see how they compare against others though. Before these (and before my last format) I was using the XtremeG 75.90s and I know those performed better than anything else available at the time.

MSI 6600gt btw

i use Xtreme G's 76.10 drivers... they have served me well, the only other drivers i have ever used are Xtremem G's 71.84's, i think, and the 76.10's smoked em in benchmarks. im using an xfx6600gt and it keeps me at 4000+ points, easily.

big fan of the 66.93's. the 71.XX and up were great for benching scores, but were choppy. 66.93's suit me the best. i don't mind the new Nvidia ones i think they are the 71.xx, but the temp bug bothers me. 66.93 all the way...woot!!! :attn: :attn: :attn:

XG 71.84s... I tried the 75.90s but they didn't work out so well, I got some driver errors so I went back and tried the 71.84-HDs... which I'm on right now

It is probably 1.15 ghz. The most important thing w/ Forceware drivers is a clean uninstall of the previous driver. DriverCleaner Pro must be followed exactly as the readme file says. I like the 75.90 drivers w/ coolbits.

i was impressed if you were getting 1.5ghz outta your ram. thanks for the link on N-bench. your ram might help, but id say the big thing holding you back is your processor, everything else looks great. ps: does anyone know if a crappy hard drive will hold back your 3dmarks scores?
