I have just figured out that the 200-100 mhz selections in the bios refer to a memory divider/ratio.

Im trying to figure out the max htt of my 3000+ but i cannot get the memory running lower than the 150/.75 divider.

My kingston valueram is a bottleneck in my system, i think, and by not having a low enough divider, it will hamper max htt.
I have to select manual timing mode and then select the mhz selection for the memlock index value.

at a mhz value of lower than 150, i cannot boot and have to go into safe mode to change it to a lower (higher mhz) divider

Should i be able to run a higher (lower mhz) divider, or is this normal?

In fact, my computer does not reliably boot with SPD set to manual, even with 200 mhz (1:1) divider at stock htt/fsb

I was unable to run a divider with my corsair value select. no clue about kingston value, but my CVS didnt like a divider
