Team Race has begun!

Gentlemen, start your crunchers.
Nows the time to blow the dust out of your heatsink and see if you can get a few more Mhz!

heezer and I just finished figuring out the teams and putting the finishing touches on the race page.

The scores are all set to zero. Any credit added in the next xml release and after will go towards the race.

The race will be to 250,000cs which should take one and a half to two months.

I'd encourage teams to pick better names than Team A, Team B, etc. Just let heezer or I know what you want it changed to. (try to keep it shorter than 'Mictlan and Dk Jedi Alliance' or it'll make the tables huge ;) )

Stats question/problem

hey guys (heizer maybe u can help) my stats are not making any sense !!! here are the listings for the last 2 days

Seti Synergy - 9th: 486; 10th: 650

OCforums stats - 9th: 649; 10th: 178

SetiAt work: 9th: 1306; 10th: 1864

the team race seems to have combined the 9th and 10th to give me: 828

anybody have any ideas?????

I think Synergy is a couple of days behind in taking their snapshot. One day there should be a big jump when they catch up.

Screwed up as it is, Seti BOINC teams' page is always up to date and would be the best place to get the results.

For the first four teams, yes. For the Underdogs (team five), the cut off date is tomorrow (Sunday), iirc. :)

Can you all believe where already more than 1/4 the way through the race !!!
At this rate ; will be done in total time of one month or sooner because everyone is still climbing fast and adding new machines .

Well, We had seen everyone was producing 4000 or so per team a day so we had guessed 1 1/2 - 2 months. Well now the average is between 6-8 thousand. So yeah it will be over quicker than expected. Everyone is cruchin' like mad!! We will just have to have another race after this one.

Yeah, the amount of credit the teams are puting out totally took me by surprise.
If you add all five teams' weekly average that's 36,000cs/day!!
Way to go everyone, maybe we can break into the top five teams now!
