I got Win 98 SE, and now I tried SiSoft Sandra 2001te, and it won't let me run "system summery, mainboard info, or performance tune-up". The "information module" blue symbol appears but when I click it says....

*SANDRA- This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.*

I just upgraded from win95 a few days ago to win 98SE.

Try a version earlier than the 'te' version.

I can't run the new one at all on my EPoX 8K7A+ 1.4 @ 1.67 at all. Completely locks my desktop (except for mouse) and makes me do a hard restart.

NEVERMIND.. I updated BIOS, and guess what... Si Sandra likes me, it's my first time actually using it, works nice too bad I don't really understand very much of it.

Should've mentioned that.

I had a problem with Sandra when I got my VP6 but a BIOS upgrade did solve the problem.

Glad it's working for you nonetheless!

What does performance rating (PR) mean? I have a P// 400, and my performance rating is PR479 (estimated)? Does that mean that my CPU is @ 479MHz? Sandra is nice. Thanks for the info
