Well i filled my system to do my leaktest, jumped the PSU and the pump sounds like its on but it isnt doing anything, now the dumb question im asking is i have the res then to the lower barb on the pump and i need to get the pump on to move the water to the rest of the system to fill the thing up completely is the pump not sucking? or do i have it on the wrong barb? Is my pump dead?

Centrifugal pumps tend to be poor at sucking water. You may try filling some water manually into the top barb of the pump as well, or filling the system outside of your case. The barb going into the middle of the housing's center is the inlet, the one on top the outlet. I had decent luck filling the system as well as possible through both hoses and my Tline then connecting them to the pump, and finally bleeding and filling any more water through the Tline. I suppose the same could be done with the res.
Make sure not to run it dry very long as damage will occur.

nope without the res being full its not sucking water the intake sits high in the res for the pump

i have the res then to the lower barb on the pump and umn by lower barb im definately betting you have the res in the wrong spot as well as the higher one in the tech drawing is the one that leads to the center of the pump (intake)

I have it like this, sorry its a crappy paint drawing.
Also i looked at the manual and i have the res hose connected to the pump inlet, it goes
Pump(Discharge)>Rad>Cpu>Gpu>Res>Pump(Inlet)
Also i have those DD high poly res and the inlet is on the left right, and the discharge is on the right correct? In the res picture yellow = inlet red = discharge
try popping off the tubing on the inlet barb to the res , and sucking the water round , then pop the tubing back on and switch ur pc on as fast as possible , (while popping off the tubing i recommend you have the res outside of the case ;)

I filled the system just now so there is water on both the inlet and discharge and nothing the pump is on i felt it and shook it a little to try and get it going, im pretty sure its DOA. Ill give the suck idea a shot after work man has this h2o adventure been a horrible one...

Good news guys, Bruce from cooltechnica emailed me and im gonna get an rma shortly, i hope this wasnt a user air though, i thought i had the air out of the tubes near the pump barbs so it wouldnt run dry at all, soon as i get a new pump ill get some pics of my rig running.
