Dell has given me a 75 dollar coupon to use for anything on their website
i am planing on requesting product at about 125-150$ and see if they accept it
But i am unsure of what to get

my 700M is in boxing and i would like to have everything shipped togeather sometime next week i hope.

Is there anything from the Dell US site that is a must have?
thanks

Use it towards the restocking fee when you return it :D.

I was kidding...i hate dell....

I would get a router f you dont have one or a wireless mouse if you hate the lappy mouse or anything you'll find useful.

maybe a nice case to carry it in so it stays nice and purrrdy and shiny new looking?

or liek he said a mouse to use would be nice :-) or if you would be on battery alot a second battery to use

Wireless keyboard and/or mouse sounds like a good suggestion to me. Or a second battery is useful.

I would get a carrying case or just an extra mouse. Too bad you can't use it for extra laptop upgrades, like memory or cpu, or such.

I am sure you will be happy with the 700m, I really enjoy my brothers.

I would get a battery, those things usually have a lifespan of about a year

I'd lean towards a 2nd battery or nice case myself.

Battery sounds like a great idea. I'd bet you could find better selection of cases/backpacks elsewhere for less anyway ... -- Paul

My vote goes to put it twords an xtended warranty. I work with Dells everyday at work and with the newer ones, I'm constantly replacing parts. Hd's lcd's Cd/dvd rom's U name it I've had to replace it. Granted the teachers at my school are probably the most computer illiterate people on the face of the planet but I still think its a very good investment since your gonna be using it at some point.

More ram is always goo.

Yeah, it is, BUT....you can get additional ram from newegg, et al, for a lot cheaper than you can from Dell.

You can pick up a nice case/backpack just about anywhere, but getting it from Dell will ensure it'll fit right....

Extended warranty.....good thought, but I don't know if $75 will go too far for that.

I still say snag a 2nd battery myself... ;)

Oh really... mine should be about dead by now  :)

batteries nowadays are supposed to last like 3 to 4 years... and they go bad if you use them or not.

I SECOND THE EXTENDED WARRANTY!!! actually tack on an accadental damage warranty if you don't have one yet... You never know when some moron behind you decides to spill his coffee over your keyboard... this hasent happened to me just because I enforce the 5 foot rule!!!! bring a beverage within 5 feet of my laptop and I will use my ninja skillz :sn:

WOOT 6 STARS!!!
