My friend here has a Celly 600 and he was wondering about the CPUs steppings and what they mean... Any one has a pic or something that explains it all?
Thx ahead.

Steppings are denoted by letters on Intel CPU's..it kind of breaks out like this:
cB0 -> c = Coppermine core version, B = 3rd core revision, 0 = ? Minor revision ?
or
kB0 -> k = Katmai core version, B = 1st core revision, 0 = ? Minor revision ?
There are only two steppings for the Celeron 600:
SL3W8/SL46U - cB0
SL4NX/SL4PB - cC0
I'm not totally sure what the actual revisions are when they're not core process revisions. I think there usually microcode updates? Anyone..Anyone?
