Hi. I built myself a projector for my computer out of an lcd screen and an overhead projector. (Link to How-To (http://www4.tomshardware.com/howto/20041113/))

I now am up to the part to get a tv tuner card for my computer and be able to watch tv on my projector. I already have an ati radio 9700 pro in my computer. is it possible to get a pci tuner card and put it in my comp without having to remove my agp 9700? also, because i'm trying to spend so little on this project can anyone recommend some good tv tuners that are under $100? Thanks.

Hauppage has a good line of pci tv tuner cards. Check it out. No need to remove the r9700. Congrats on the projector!!!

If the LCD display you are using on the projector is of decent quality, you might want to check out ATI's HDTV wonder for watching high definition stuff.

(LCD should have a native res of 1280x1024 or higher to consider this)

PS: Pics! I built one too a while ago, but had to use an old laptop. No cheap bigscreen Half-Life 2 :(

most homemade projects use 15in LCDs ie 1024x768
also the HDTV wonder can only recieve HDTV through antenna, not cable
