Please post here if you would be willing to donate your folding machine for a short period of time to a new member to get them going.

I was thinking of offering 3 days of folding time to any new members that join our team to help them get a good start.

If anyone is interested, let me know so I can get you name on a list.

Thanks

Bill.

I was thinkin of using it to entice new members. If we dedicate say, 5 machines to one person for 3 days, their total would jump up real quick. Give them a good start.

We could figure out some sort of contest too. The winner would ge an all expense paid trip to........wait, ummmm, 3 days WU credits from some of us. :D

Maybe we could work on everyone that doesnt have 500 units yet and get them there.

5 or 6 machines for 3 days would almost get someone to 500 wu's.
We need a name. :D

Looks like Dunga bee and Cowanrg are the newest members.
We can all devote 3 days then move to the next one.
Lets start with Cowanrg since he started before Dunga bee.

that sounds good,

I only have one box running, but I am running 3 clients, so I can switch one over to whoever needs/wants it, as I just passed 600 wu's myself

Folding as Cowanrg (www.overclockers com) as of the time and date of this post. Will fold under this user name for 48hrs. This is my minor machine. My major is down with a broken HSF retainer. Awaiting parts. Could have got this done much easier with the Big Boy.:D

Hi JetMech
The client is case sensitive and the name is cowanrg (www.overclockers.com) with a space between cowanrg and (www.overclockers.com). Just letting you know if you used a capital "C" then the credit would be given to a different user.

TT,

I have begun to get addicted to folding so I have recruited my work laptop, a friends server and am also running my t-bird 24/7.

See my post in the 'Don't Give Up' thread for the specifics of the machines.

Fold On...

I guess I'm "addicted" too. When the server was down the other day and I had 6 or 7 clients sitting idle I kept reaching for my smokes- and I quit 10 years ago! Even now the sight of an idle CPU makes me squirm.

I have to look at rooms full of idle 500-1000 mhz machines every day. Too bad the school put Win2000 over Win95 last year. ;)
Note: never run DC apps without permission! :D
