lets see here

$35 for the game
+$180 a year for fees
=$215 to play for the first year

I'm sure its a great game and I never have played it. But its just to expensive.

Exactly.. $35 doesnt look to be too much of a great deal anymore ^^^?
I think if you have to pay to play the game, then the game it self should be free to dowload/purchase... Only makes sense, but seem like someone is getting really greedy now days..

I just posted this as a deal, not to start an argument or to tell people to buy it. It's your own choice to play or not. We've already HAD discussions on this and obviously enough people are willing to play to make WoW profitable or else it would not exist as we know it.

Ok, you don't want to pay to play. Why would you want to play an mmorpg without support and maintenence? I can admit that I've played on the "free" Wow servers which is against the EULA, but anyway. The free servers are horrid. Skills are busted, there is no supoprt. Chat doesn't work, xp rates are horrible, money is non-existant and there isn't a player base. Whereas, you play WoW, you can interact with thousands of players of all types. Full chat functions, plenty of content and patches weekly. PvP action at every turn, even on the Carebear servers.

For being 6 months old, World of Warcraft is amazing. It has its server issues, we can all admit, but it's not as horrible as it's made out to be. I would prefer to play a dynamic game that is weekly updated and maintained, than a single hunk of game that I pay $50 for, play once, and drop back into my drawer.

I love warcraft...Now if I'd just pony up the cash...But thank you for the rates, I was curious how much it cost, but too lazy/busy/tired to look it up online.
