theres 2 little gold dots at the top of the processor with L1 written above them (sorry i dont have a pic, but im sure someone will post one). connect these dots using a pencil to draw a line between them - ive never done it, i was fortunate enough to get a 1.2 with the L1's already connected. but i do know that it wont work if you accidentally connect the L1 bridge to the L2 bridge, so be careful.

There's 8 little gold dots under the heading L1 like this:

O O
O O
O O
O O

You have to pencil them in so they look like this:

O-O
O-O
O-O
O-O

Depending on which chip you have some should already be connected but it varies depending upon what speed the chip is rated for from the factory. Also if you increas your speed you might need / want a voltage increase to drive that extra power through the chip. That involves shorting out the L7's.
