Hey there,
Repair Install of Windows XP Pro with SP2 integrated. Hardware in sig,
The image drive from Alcohol 120% is showing, but my disk drives arent? (One DVD-RW on CD-RW)
They are both showing up in the BIOS so i dont know what is up? Any ideas?
Thanks,

do you see anything in device manager that may indicate a problem?
alcohol 120% seems to totally mess up windows recognizing drives. if you cant figure it out, i would try removing that.

Device manager looks fine, i'll remove Alcohol and see if i can get it to work. Cheers.

Nope :(
Does this mean i have to do another repair reinstall, with Alcohol uninstalled? Pfft i'll just backup and reformat tbh!

No, they are not in device manager or my computer.
They show in bios, and i am able to boot from them aswell.

have you tried deleting your IDE controllers, rebooting, letting them redetect and see if the optical drives are detected?
