Prime 95 error?

Well its not really an error, however when I do the torture test, it gets stuck on Test1 and it keeps going, it doesnt go to Test2, test 3, etc...

what seems to be the problem?

Try running Prime95 at stock see if it still happens.

What the squirrel said. But something tells me that's not the prob. This is really weird...Could you be inadvertantly ticking some setting causing you to run the same test repeatedly???

Ok, first of all what torture test are you running? The blend option for testing lots or RAM? If whats teh longest you've let it run? When i run the test lots of ram torture test, the first test takes ALONG TIME, then the rest of the tests quicken up a bit. I doubt you have anything to worry about.

I will try doing Prime95 on stock speeds tomorrow.
Yes I did the blend option testing. I've let it ran for 4 hours, and it still was on Test 1, ive ran it before and it usually doesn't take THAT long to pass Test 1.

try custom setting and drop the mount of ram by 20mb. my comp does the same thing until I go to custom and reduce the ram from 927mb to 907mb then it runs fine.

Have you tried the max heat test? Thats CPU only.

Ok i've tried what you said and it's working normally, it gets to Test 2, Test 3, Test 4 etc... when doing the Max heat test.

But what is the problem with my system that it stalls at Test 1 when im on Blend?

sometimes blend does a particular test for a long time. How long have you let it run before you thought it was "stuck?"

I've let Blend run for 4 hours. I've ran Prime95 on this system before using the Blend Torture test, and I know it doesn't take 4 hours just to pass the first 2-3 tests.
However now, it just seems to be stuck at Test 1.

I have had this very same problem and never found a solution. I've previously posted to this site the very same problem and never really got a solution. Just curious, what motherboard and cpu are you using?

With my system 2 (sig) I also had this problem, and only wtih the blend test. I tought my memory was getting erros so I checked with mem test86, but no errors occured. The problem solved after I swapped my PSU with a bigger one. But doubt thats your problem...
