2) 1.4GHz @ 1.65 @ 1.89VCore
(Did have a 1GHz @ 1.566 until I chipped it :( )

3) Don't have a reliable method for testing.

cant get any higher till i get a better PSU, running it at 1.47 drops my 5v line to 4.81V.

un-oc'ed load temp can sometimes reach 34C
@ 1.47 load temp can reach 37C

temps based on a probe touching the side of the core itself. however, MBM will report higher temps (up to 5C) unless i have a fan blowing over the waterblock, at which time they usually drop down to close to the probe temp (usually 1 or 2C above probe).

oh, ambient is 25.5C (radiator intake) and 27.2C (case temp).

volt mod it; up the voltage a bit and I'm sure you'll be able to hit 1.5 with 2.0Vcore. Temps will be around 44C load, which is fine, nothign to be afraid of,

I can do 1.6 easy=]

just waiting for my peltier and winter to come first

note

mbm reads vcore as 1.86 but it should only be 1.82

and I dont think I need to do a voltage mod on the shuttle AK31
sense toms said it can go to 2.00 anyways=]

the board was recommended for Duron users sense the vcore can go so high

can you people out there tell me if the water coming out from the waterblock should be cold or warm .. or mayb hot ?
because the water temp. i am getting out from the waterblock is cold... the water temp is just above room temperater (about 35L of water with some anti corrosion stuff)

Warlord2
09-30-01, 11:34 PM
lol well it would be awesome if it was cold but no its supposed to be warm

how warm? I do not know

if its coming out only a few degrees warmer thin when its going in that usualy means your not making good contact with the block and the die

on a dual 1600+xp@1728mhz, both 40C under load, I don't know idle because I never let it idle. Just one radiator on all that, too!

P.S. I needed to grind the clips a little so they would slide propery. The base could use some lapping, but I didn't bother.

Tom doesn't know what he's talking about. The bios gives options for up to 2.0v, but if you set it above 1.85V, it goes back to the default voltage! This is a known fact... the board was popular, and everyone had this problem.

P.S. Sorry for the thread crap.

maze 2, ehiem 1250, largish heater core, temps are 38 idle, 44 max load.

1600@1910 with 1.95vcore

AE 86, water temp leaving the block should only be a degree or two warmer than room temp. it should not be hot, the water should be circulating the system much too fast for the water in the block to get "hot".
